While managed by the Ashland County Park District, Gilliom-Cherp Nature Park is in Richland County.

This 176-acre park primarily consists of floodplain forest along the Black Fork of the Mohican River. There are a number of vernal pools and small open marshes found throughout the forest. The park is connected to Black Fork Bottoms Park by an easement across private land. Public hunting and fishing are the primary activities in this park, but it is also open to casual hiking during the spring and fall when abundant wildflowers can be found.
