Pine Island Park is located on the shore of Pine Island Pond, which was created by a dam on Cohas Brook. The park has a history of being an amusement park from 1902 to 1963, with attractions such as roller coasters, a Ferris wheel, a carousel, a skating rink, and a drive-in theater. Today, the park offers recreational activities such as hiking, fishing, and kayaking.
