The publicly accessible Camp Perry Beach is located on the grounds of the 640-acre Camp Perry Military Reservation. The main entrance to Camp Perry is on Niagara Road, north of the OH-2 and OH-358 intersection. The beach is situated behind the Camp Perry Lodging & Conference Center facility on Lawrence Road.

Public amenities include a swimming beach, fishing pier, and restroom facilities. The military grounds also include a museum and self-guided tours with interpretive signage.

 Photo identification is sometimes required at the gate to enter.
