Wood and Swainson's Thrush, Bobolinks, and Snow Bunting, are some nice birds that have been encountered here.
Nice County Park south of Correctionville with good amenities. Used heavily on weekends in the summer. 1/2 Timber, 1/4 Upland, 1/8 Marsh, 1/8 Water. Good diversity of species and a decent number depending on the season.
From Correctionville (30 miles east of Sioux City on Hwy 20) turn south on County 31 through town. Turn right (West) staying on 31. Proceed 1.8 miles as the road turns south. Signs to Little Sioux County Park will direct you from there.
