Birders visit the grounds around the New Vision Fire Station and Community Center because in the past few years Trumpeter Swans have nested here with success. The area to bird is behind the building and has two ponds. A lower pond and an upper pond. There is also a small grassland area. Several waterfowl use the ponds as well as a variety of other birds. It is worth the stop in breeding and nesting season.
