Marion, Ohio 43302
Ohio State University Marion websiteThere are extensive well-mowed paths throughout the prairie and a small pond near the shelter house. There is a creek on the east side that is the easternmost edge but hard to see when the leaves are on the trees.
The Larry R. Yoder Prairie Learning Laboratory is a tallgrass prairie restoration located on the Ohio State Marion campus. The restoration project was started by a small and highly dedicated group of people in 1977. More than 11 acres of restored tallgrass prairie are a showpiece on the campus and an attraction for the surrounding communities. The Prairie Learning Lab is where the community has been connecting with tall grass prairies since 1977. Visit the Prairie Learning Lab to explore and learn more about the beauty and magnificence of the tall grass prairie.
