County Conservation board nature center situated overlooking a wetland and restored native prairie all situated next to a prominent glacial kame (gravel hill). From US Hwy 71, between cities of Okoboji and Spirit Lake, take paved 170th Street 1/2 mile west to nature center entrance on south side of road. Restored prairie pothole wetland with surrounding restored native prairie and small remnant oak savanna.
