Spring, summer, and fall birding.
Warblers under the power line. Thrushes, Ovenbird, Scarlet Tanager, and Ruffed Grouse in woods. Eastern Bluebird. A wide variety of birds in wetlands.

About this Location

Musquash Conservation Area has 15+ miles of trails. Trailhead parking is at the end of Hickory Hill Drive.

The conservation area is about 900 acres, including several wetlands of varying sizes and a lot of forested uplands. It is managed as a tree farm, so there is some tree-cutting from time to time. The dirt road from the parking area leads to several trails.

Musquash Swamp Conservation Area is located on Hickory Hill Drive, Londonderry. From I-93 exit 4, take NH-102 west about 3.5 miles to High Range Road. Turn right and go about 2.8 miles to Hickory Hill Drive. Turn left and follow Hickory Hill to the end, where you can park under the power lines.
