Willard’s Woods, 100 acres with 3 miles of trails, offers visitors the opportunity to wander through the open meadows, pine groves, and wetlands of an old farm. Two streams cross the area, and the meadows contain a variety of wildflowers, including an occasional asparagus plant. Fox, raccoon, opossum, deer, coyote, and many bird species frequent Willard’s Woods.
A short bicycle path runs from Hathaway Road and Brent Road to North Street. A large parking area is available on North Street. Access is from North Street, Redcoat Lane, Hathaway Road, Longfellow Road, Brent Road, and the Diamond Middle School parking lot.
