The Upper Spencer Brook Valley region has several connected pieces of conservation land and some private property. Trails cross the area and pass through woods, open fields, and marshes.

The West entrance is on Strawberry Hill Road, with a network of paths leading to the West entrance off Westford Road. Parking is on the street on either end. To access the land from Westford Road, park on the main road and walk up the driveway for #77 Westford Road. The trailhead parallels the driveway on the right side, about halfway up.
