The road travels through woods and deep ravines. Most expected nesting species of Ohio unglaciated woodland birds can be found there in season. Examples include Kentucky Warblers, Blue-winged Warblers, Ovenbirds, Hooded Warblers, American Redstarts, and Wood Thrushes.
