About this Location

Harry Eastwood’s legacy continues in the Eastwood Preserve. The Eastwood Preserve is a 28-acre parcel of land located in the heart of Richfield. It was the property of the Harry Eastwood Family. Upon Harry’s death, the family wanted to see the land preserved forever.

The Eastwood Preserve was acquired through a Clean-Ohio Grant in 2004. The Summit-Medina Land Conservatory is the administrator of the property. Development of the Preserve started with the house property and the gardens.

The Preserve offers us a diverse variety of features. It is the headwater of Yellow Creek.

Visit Eastwood Preserve and enjoy the hiking trails through forests and open fields full of pollinators and wildflowers. A variety of aquatic species such as frogs and turtles live in the beautiful pond, where you can also fish. Fishing is catch-and-release only.

Parking is available at 4712 Streetsboro Road (OH-303) or at the small parking lot off Southern Road between 3519 and 3493 Southern Road.
