University of Rhode Island Official WebsitePeckham Farm provides grassland habitat which can be good for finding birds such as Northern Harrier, Killdeer, Savannah Sparrow, and occasionally Eastern Meadowlarks.
Peckham Farm is a fully operational farm owned by the University of Rhode Island. Direct access to the farm is restricted, however, the general public can utilize the bike path that goes around the perimeter of the farm for birding. There is no parking available directly at Peckham Farm, the best way for members of the general public to access the farm is to park at the Kingston Train Station and follow the bike path to the farm. For those relying on transit, RIPTA bus services offer a few stops near the farm on RI-138.
