Jenness/Sawyers Beach is a scenic stretch of sandy beach on the Atlantic Ocean. It is part of the Jenness State Beach park, which offers swimming, picnicking, and lifeguard services during the summer months. The beach is a popular spot for surfing, as it can produce some impressive waves on certain days. The beach has metered parking, a bathhouse, and a picnic area for visitors to enjoy. 

The beach is open daily from late May through mid-October. Lifeguards are on duty from 9:00 am to 4:45 pm on Memorial Day weekend, then daily from June through early September, weather permitting.
