About this Location

As of May 2013, the Kinnikinick Campground has been converted to a day-use-only site. To protect resources, overnight camping is prohibited within one mile of the lake.

Kinnikinick Lake is a relatively out-of-the-way, open country body of water where people can recreate for the day. Bring your canoes, kayaks, and small motorboats to enjoy trout fishing and watching wildlife. Common visitors to the lake are elk, deer, and bald eagles. Occasionally antelope sightings are reported.

Drive 30 miles south of Flagstaff on FR-3 (Lake Mary Road) and turn east on FR-125. Drive 4 miles to FR-82 and turn southeast 5.5 miles to the campground.
