Official WebsiteThis 92 acre area was donated by Louis and Clara Ahart of Dow City, Iowa, in 1989. It was developed as a wildlife habitat and public hunting area. Twenty acres of reestablished prairie, several tree plantings, and a seven acre public fishing pond make this a quality resource providing habitat for pheasants, quail, deer, songbirds, and waterfowl.
Directions: Take Highway 30 west through Dow City, then turn south on the first gravel road (185th St.) 1.5 miles to site.
