Important Bird Area.
Myre Slough is a large, shallow marsh with an adjoining small lake and a single, modest tract of timber centrally located. It is a pure natural area, primarily used for hunting.
From Forest City, head west on County Road A42 for about 8 miles. Turn north at 100th Ave. and you are there.
