During peak days of spring migration, the trail can be a good place to see several warbler, vireo, or flycatcher species.

Damascus Community Park is located on Damascus-Georgetown Road (Township Highway 716) southeast of Damascus. 

The park features a 0.6 mile nature trail through a hilly ravine area with a stream and a few spots with open understory. Some parts of the trail are narrow with a sharp incline at a couple of points.
