This park can be good for Neotropical migrants. Ospreys nest on the cell tower nearby and fish at the park.
This beautiful area holds 75 wooded acres that border the Wapsipinicon River. River access is abundant at this site which has a concrete boat ramp and fishing area. Dirt mountain biking trails are maintained here with signage. Annual 3-D archery shoots are hosted here by the Wapsi Bowhunters. There are also open areas with picnic tables that are ideal for picnicking. Restroom facilities are available at the park entrance.
